The Nocturne case is made of white plastic and gives a lonely impression, so I designed it so that it wouldn't float even in camping.
This design follows the design of the [Froga Storage Case] sold by the same Snow Peak, so it goes well with Snow Peak items.
As with the Froga storage case, a hook-and-loop fastener is used to attach and detach the belt.
On the other hand, the pocket on the front of the leather case is sewn for design, so you can't put anything in it.
In addition, with an emphasis on design, the front, rear, and side parts are not sewn together, but are closely attached by a strong adhesive.
You can use it without any problem for the Nocturne storage case, but please note that the leather case may be damaged if you put a larger item.
The cut cross section (edge) of the leather is not dyed with dye, but is carefully "soaked with wax and baked" one by one with a special tool.
By doing this, not only will the line be firmly drawn, but it will also be dyed black naturally, so each item will have a different expression, creating a unique feeling in a handmade world.
In addition, the strength is increased by baking the cross section of the leather, so it can be used for a long time. We also make other items with the same leather.
When combined with the coloring, it gives color to the stylish camping table with a sense of unity.
The leather "Vivid" used is manufactured by Virgilio in the Santa Croce region of Italy.
Vivid has a pre-scratched leather surface.
It goes great with camping gear, which is easily soiled and damaged.
In addition, Vivid is a leather soaked with plenty of oil.
The surface of the leather is a little rough due to its scratch processing, but as you touch and use it, the gloss increases as you use it, and it is characterized by becoming glossier than general leather.
Snow Peak Nocturne Leather Case Chocolate uses a fairly deep green sewing thread.
The sewing thread used at Ninjin Leather Factory is the highest quality thread used in high-end maisons called "MEISI Super Fine linen thread".
While having solid strength, it also has suppleness.
It is less sticky to the touch and is resistant to water to some extent due to the moderate oil penetration.

スノーピークの小型ガスランタン【ノクターン】専用ケース『ノクターンレザーケースVIVDO（ヴィヴィド）チョコレート』です。
（ノクターンは付属してきません。）
ノクターンのケースは白色のプラスチックで寂しい印象なので、キャンプでも浮かないデザインにしてみました。
こちらのデザインは、同じスノーピークから販売されている【フローガ収納ケース】のデザインを踏襲していますので、スノーピークアイテムとの相性も抜群です。
フローガ収納ケースと同様に、ベルトの着脱は面ファスナーを採用しています。
一方で、レザーケース前面にあるポケット状のものはデザインのために縫い付けてあるため、何か物を入れることはできません。
また、デザイン性を重視して、前面・後面・側面のパーツは縫い合わされているわけではなく、強力な接着剤により密着されています。
ノクターン収納ケースを入れる分には全く問題なく使用できますが、それ以上大きな物を入れるとレザーケースが壊れる恐れがありますのでご注意ください。
レザーのカット断面（コバ）の処理は、染料で染めずに1箇所ずつ丁寧に専用道具で「ロウを染み込ませて焼き込み」をしています。
こうすることでしっかりとラインが入るだけでなく、自然と黒く染まるため、1つ1つのアイテムで表情が異なり、ハンドメイドらしい世界に1つだけの特別感が生まれます。
また、レザーの断面を焼くことで強度が増すので、長く使っていただくことができます。
使用しているレザー「ヴィヴィド」は、イタリアのサンタクローチェ地方にあるVirgilio社が製造しています。
ヴィヴィドは、レザー表面にあらかじめスクラッチ加工が施されています。
汚れや傷つきやすいキャンプギアとの相性も抜群です。
また、ヴィヴィドにはオイルがたっぷりと染み込んだレザーです。
レザー表面はそのスクラッチ加工により、少しザラザラとしていますが、触っていたり使い込んでいくと使い込むほどに艶が増していき、一般的なレザーよりも光沢が出てくることが特徴です。
ノクターンレザーケースVIVDO（ヴィヴィド）には、かなり深いグリーンの縫い糸を使用しています。
Ninjin Leather Factoryで使用している縫い糸は、「MEISI Super Fine麻糸」と呼ばれる高級メゾンでも使用されている最高品質のものを使用しています。
しっかりとした強度がありながら、しなやかさも持ち合わせています。
触ってもベタつきが少なく、程よいオイルの染み込みにより、ある程度水にも強くなっています。
